I am glad to see you at my site. Since you got here, you probably need some help in communicating with this Russian-and-Ukrainian-speaking part of the globe? Whether you are looking for Russian translations or Ukrainian translations, you have found the right place.
First of all, you came across a good translator (flushes). This is most important, of course. There is a separate page summarizing my translation capabilities and experience; but do not hesitate to inquire if no exact match to your needs is listed: I will not accept a job unless I am absolutely sure I can handle it.
Further, I live in the said part of the globe (to be more precise: Kiev, Ukraine). This means a lot of things. Languages are not static: they change together with the society, and you will believe me that almost every aspect of this society is now changing at a terrific speed. One simply has to be inside to follow these changes.
The above applies even more to cultural issues. You must be extremely careful when you address a foreign audience in you marketing materials, or you may get unpredictable results. Handling these matters should be a part of any good translation.
Being here, I have access to more resources to support my translation trade. Producing a good translation often involves making a phone call, checking with a map or referring to an encyclopaedia. Not everything is available on-line!
Now, the last (though definitely not the least) goes the price. My standard rate for translation is USD 0.06 per word of source or target text. This may not be incredibly low, because you still have to pay for quality, but it seems to be what they call a competitive price. And, discounts are available: for individual clients, for charities, for bulk orders, etc. Payment schemes are just as flexible as prices: contact me, and we certainly will reach an agreement.
